Is the cause of such a lot of causalities, not disorder and lack of discipline? Why there shall be such a lot of dead and injured per year in our country?
Referring to the commentary of verse 89 of The Cow: God says the Prophet (s.a.): People ask you why moon is narrow at the beginning and then gradually becomes thicker and wider? Say: God has created moon for order in your life, and also has put it as a calendar for you so that all including literate and illiterate could arrange and organize their life affairs, including business, contracts, debts and etc.
The Quran commentator said: God has created moon for two important purposes. First, for ordering man’s life, because life without order results in a great pain and misery; second, for arranging our worships like fasting and Haj as per this calendar.
