According to report of the website of the office of Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, in a visit with a number of members of women’s cultural social council, His holiness expressed: The council could take influential steps in solving women’s problems through precision in practice and study in the Fiqh and moral issues.
Suggesting for formation of a Fiqh Committee by women, His holiness said: Formation of this committee is essential. Engagement of a number of vigilant ladies in this field results in strengthening and growing of ladies’ talent as well as solving their Fiqh problems.
His holiness stressed on the necessity of identification of the female seminary students for high seminary education and added: It is necessary to identify those who accomplish the seminary courses till the end. The same applies to the male seminary students and a special seminary shall be created in the heart of the seminary.
Referring to the issues of blood money, marriage, heritage and punishment explained in the verses, His holiness said: Each of these issues should be studied separately, and you can introduce the subjects to be discussed and inform Maraj’ of them.
In continuation, stating that we shall not limit the solution of all problems to Fiqh, His holiness explained: There are some cultural issues which cause problem. The offspring resulted from the temporary marriage and such like, have cultural problem but not Fiqh, because in such cases the both parties do not prepare particular documentation.
Referring to the issues of “When requested” and “When affordable” for the dower sum, His holiness added: It is better to stress on “When affordable for the dower sum”, and it is necessary to consider its cultural aspects.
His holiness emphasized: The programs shall be followed in such a way to be free from any westernism and interpretation based on the personal opinion. Unfortunately, we see the western ratifications, but do not see their practice, which are contradictory.
His holiness added: WE shall not involve in allegorical interpretation and alteration of verses and narrations for proving our personal opinion. This makes us far from Islam.
At the end His holiness added: WE shall not expect all problems to be solved at one night.
