Some websites have recently claimed that Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi will have some representatives sent from Iraq to establish his Bi‘thah for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage. It has also been claimed that this has been done in order for the followers of his eminence to have access to his eminence’s representatives so as to ask their religious questions and solve their problems. However, the office of Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi hereby announces that such news is completely false and Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi will have no representatives sent to establish his Bi‘thah for this years’ Hajj, whether from Iran or Iraq.
