The delegation of seminary teachers and researchers sent by Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi to set up his Bi'thah during this year’s Hajj pilgrimage will commence work on Thursday Mordad 11th [Dhelqa'dah 19th, 1439 Ah.].

The supplication of ʿArafah must be recited with a full heartfelt presence and with complete understanding of its content. One must reflect on the deeper meaning of its various teachings and benefit from the blessings of this great day.

The office of  Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi hereby announces that his eminence has sent no one to establish his Bithah for this year"s Hajj pilgrimage from Iraq and any such news is completely false.  Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi will have not have any representatives, whether from Iraq or Iran, to establish his Bi‘thah during this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.

The issues pertaining to the two Holy Shrines in Mecca and Medina need to be resolved one day; this can be accomplished only when a committee of experienced and skilled individuals regarding the issue of the Hajj pilgrimage is s e l e c ted by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to superintend the affairs of the two Holy Shrines in Mecca and Medina. In such a case, Saudi Arabia can also have a member in that committee.  

The dispatched delegation of the  Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi's Office including a number of learned scholars started its work on 23/9/2013- Dil Qa’dah 16^th at the holy city of Medina .
