In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Compassionate,
The noble people of Iran and the supporters of the Islamic Revolution: Praise be to Allah that the Assembly of Experts fulfilled its religious and legal duty at this critical juncture with a timely decision. After examining the necessary qualifications, this Assembly s e l e c ted Ayatollah Ḥāj Sayyid Mujtaba Khamenei (may Allah protect him) as the third Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and thus completed the proof for all. Now it is appropriate that the dear people and the various sections and departments of the government continue treading the blessed path of the Islamic Revolution with unity and steadfastness, by pledging allegiance to this most worthy choice, until the final victory is achieved. In the end, I once again offer my most heartfelt condolences for the martyrdom of the late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, our military commanders, our dear people, and the innocent women and children to our esteemed Leader and to all the noble people of Iran. I also offer my congratulations for this blessed s e l e c tion to all, and I ask Allah the Exalted for victory, dignity, and honor for Islamic Republic of Iran and the humiliation of its enemies.
