Commemorating the day of Ashura insures Islam and the Islamic revolution in the world.

 
"The Ashura ceremony this year had special superiority from both quantitative and qualitative points of view in comparison with previous years. Thank God that holy passion for Ashoura keeps increasing" The Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi said in his Fiqh course in mosque of A'zam.
He added: we believe that the Ashura culture insures the Islamic republic of Iran and Islam hence although no need that people like me express gratitude to this still I want to express my gratitude to the Hosseini mourners. 
His eminence stated in other part of his speech indicating one of the British politician's statements: These politicians believe that the sanctions and pressures will not affect on Iranians. They know that the Iranians insure themselves with Ashura and they could not be defeated. From their point of view, since Ashura exists they cannot put them under pressure by sanctions.
"We hope that the enemies and the extremist bloodthirsty Wahhabis be awakened from the sleep of negligence to know that they won't be able to cover the sun light with these crimes. We hope that they remove such reverie out of their minds" he emphasized.
In the other part of his speech the Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi referred to the massacre of a number of mourners in Afghanistan and Iraq and declared: unfortunately the enemies attacked a group of mourners and a number of them were martyred. This inglorious action prompted unanimous sorrow and sadness and the entire world condemned it.
His eminence pointed to the vast presence of Hosseini mourners in Holy Kabala and said: fortunately the Hosseini mourners in Iraq had a glorious presence this year and in spite of having a lot of victims in this way, they absolutely remained steadfast. 
He also stated: we do not know when the enemies want to awake from the sleep of negligence and stop committing crimes. They have to know that they never can extinguish the holy passion for Hossein (‘a) and they can never fade the Ashura away.
He continued: we hope that Ashura and its culture remains constant in the world. 
Referring to an Estifta from a group of Pakistani Muslims, The Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi added: this group asked in their Estefta that if the Ashura ceremony is held in this country it will be probably some casualties. I responded, “you should keep having your ceremonies and gatherings. This ceremony must not be recessed at all. The current circumstances entails this fact that the Ashura culture should not be considered as Mustahab but rather a “kefaiee” wajib.
