Wilayah Satellite Channel was opened

His highness Makarem Shirazi attended the ceremony of the opening of the Wilayah satellite channel broadcasted on Hot Bird satellite and congratulated people on the birth of Amir al-Muminin Ali (a.s.) and said that: "I am so glad to see that Wilayah worldwide channel begin working. Fortunately, some of the most knowledgeable scholars of the theological school are active in this channel which is a praiseworthy act." He also said that: "these people are truthful and reliable and have a good scientific record." The authority of Shia pointed out that: "this channel has a number of different programs but we hope for broadcasting some other programs like Islamic morality, morality based on the school of the household of the Prophet (s.a.), Nahj al-Balaghah, introducing the scholars of Islam, introducing the estimate books and answering to questions and removing the doubts soon." His highness also said that: "Wilayah worldwide channel established on the teachings of the holy Quran shows the culture of Islam and the household of the Prophet (s.a.) logically and scientifically for people around the world." His highness Makarem Shirazi said that: "this channel doesn’t aim to show any disrespects towards the holy things but discussions are scientific and logical and their only goal is the unity of Muslims. The school of the household of the Prophet (s.a.) is free from superstitions and fortunately this worldwide channel follows this school." He emphasized that:" today is the era of media and they utter the first word. We shouldn’t leave this field and loss this chance. We should do our best in this situation to defend the school of the household of the Prophet (s.a.)." his highness said that: "fortunately the scholars of Islam have done praiseworthy acts for promoting the school of the household of the Prophet (s.a.) from the past to now but today a logical defense of this school is necessary for all people." The authority of Shia said that:" we want Wilayah worldwide channel to be famous with this motto all over the world: "Wilayah channel that you know it and have confidence in it."  His highness Makarem Shirazi said that: "we believe that there are so many hearing ears being eager to hear the sound of the school of the household of the Prophet (s.a.), therefore, we seize this opportunity and teach whatever we have learned from this school and Islamic teachings to people around the world."
