Statements of His holiness at the beginning of Kharej Fiqh course

In his Kharej Fiqh course, His holiness warned against the new trick of adversaries of Islam through causing infighting amongst Moslems and said: The recent campaign to Iraq is aimed at this.

In the last day of Kharej courses of Qom seminary before holidays for the first ten days of Moharram and among hundreds of His Kharej Fiqh course in Qom Azam mosque, His holiness warned against  dissidence and variance among Shiite and Sunnite.
His holiness said: The enemies incite a group of Moslems against followers of Prophet’s Household (a.s.) and say: We are feeling danger f r o m the independent country which is becoming stronger.
His holiness added: The recent campaign to Iraq is not just aimed at Iraq. For this purpose, the Moslems shall be warned.
His holiness stipulated: In the six days war, Israel destroyed Arabic countries and the U.S. supported it. The territories of Jordan was occupied by them. Have they forgotten the enmities of the West? 38 persons write a letter against Shiite. Didn’t they draw a cartoon f r o m the Prophet (s.a.) and mock at him? Didn’t Pope uttered those phrases against Prophet (s.a.) and Islam? These movements were against Islam, not Shiite! However, today their Foreign Minister is inciting Moslems against Moslems.
Criticizing some Arabic countries and authorities glorying Saddam, His holiness expressed: Does Mr. Gharzavi, who is a great Sunnite scholar with revolutionary mentality calls Saddam a Moslem affected by the mass media. Quran says: If one kills a believer, he shall be killed and repentance after arrest is not acceptable. Saddam’s repentance is similar to that of Pharaoh. Has this Islamic scholar has forgotten Quran saying that Saddam recited Quran at the end of his life?
At the end, His holiness stressed: Islamic Ulama and Moslem nations shall be warned not to submit to the enemy’s policies and tricks, because the result would be the six days war and occupation of their territories.
