In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever-Compassionate
إنا لله و إنا إلیه راجعون
The terrorist attack carried out in the city of Kerman during the commemoration ceremony of the Martyr Qasem Soleimani, during which a large number of our fellow Iranians were martyred and many more injured has caused us great sorrow and anguish.
The perpetrators of this heinous act of terrorism, who have the blood of innocent men, women, and children on their hands seek to sow insecurity in our country in order to compensate for the defeats that they have sustained.
However, they should know that our people along with all other true Muslims believe, with certitude, in Allah’s promise and they shall, God-willing, achieve ultimate victory over all enemies and ill-wishers through patience and steadfastness, I extend my most heartfelt condolences to Imam al-Mahdi (ʻa), the noble people of Iran, and in particular the bereaved families of those who were martyred in this attack. I pray for Allah’s abounding mercy for the souls of the martyred and the quick recovery of the wounded, and I urge the authorities and security forces to identify the perpetrators of this terrible crime and bring them to justice.
