We denounce the recent massacre in Pakistan

The Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi in the beginning of the Fiqh course, referring to the recent grievous massacre in Pakistan stated "we are informed that a bunch of mercenaries of Sipah-e-Sahaba stopped a bus carrying the followers of Ahlolbait (‘a) and shot the passengers and murdered a number of innocent people including women and children.
"This is not the first time that we witness such a massacre and we do not know what belief or religion they hold that allows them to kill innocents in cold blood" his eminence remarked.
The Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi held the Wahhabis responsible for such butcheries and added" All these calamities are rooted in to Wahhabis which have become a serious problem for the Islamic world and blurred the face of Islam, so the Muslim scholars should think of a solution for this problem."
His eminence continued" we urge the Pakistani government to protect its own citizens and to not let them to be cruelly murdered. Besides why the international community is silent and says nothing. If a single person on their side is killed they would start shouting at the whole world and the media will be filled by its news, whereas, a number of innocent Shias are shot to death yet nothing has happened. What a nice international sympathy is this!!!"   

The  Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi renouncing the recent massacre in Pakistan expressed his sympathy with Pakistani Muslims Shias and Sunnis and urged the Pakistani government and international organizations to prevent such killings that are unprecedented in the whole history and asked them to eradicate this terrorist group that is responsible for this tragic crime.
