Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi took part in this year’s Quds Day Rallies, as in the previous years, along with other people. During these rallies, Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi stated: “we must appreciate people for their participation, because through their participation in these rallies, they have demonstrated their unshakeable loyalty to Islam as well as the values of the Islamic revolution”.
Stating that the vast participation of the people of Iran in these rallies conveys various messages, Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi further noted: “Quds Day rallies and similar demonstrations held worldwide are a thorn in the side of Israel, because they serve as a means for preventing othe issue of Palestine and the atrocities committed by the Israelis from being forgotten”.
Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, then, stated: “The Quds Day rallies must continue to be held until the day that the oppressive Israeli regime is overthrown”.
