His Eminence Emphasis on Ending Shia-phobia With an Active Diplomacy

Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi in a meeting with Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Iranian Foreign Minister, thanked him and the Iranian negotiating committee to resolve the issue of peaceful nuclear energy and expressed: The way should be continued by wisdom, power, and dignity observing people and the system’s issues to reach the desired results Insha’Allah.

He noted: Our major problem is the unfavorable drawing that the enemies of Shia drew resorting to all kinds of lies and slanders. So the Shia-phobia must come to an end with an active diplomacy and direct contact with the governments inside and outside the region and everyone know that we are ready to live in peace and security with all countries except some extremely rare cases.

He emphasized: The West should not think that we have reached our purpose with this agreement; we accepted this preliminary agreement to make confidence and show our goodwill and preparation for a comprehensive agreement including the benefits of both parties.

Expressing that solving this problem will lead to regional security, he said: However, some of the usurper regimes see their interests in the insecurity of the region.

Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi continued: All members of the cabinet as well as the respected president have to try to move on the path of moderation, as they promised, to have the support of all people.

It is worth mentioning that the Foreign Minister provided a comprehensive report of the contract of nuclear energy and its future lines, and finally Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi wished success for all.
