Two important pieces of advice by Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi to the Western governmentsers and the Wahhabis/Paris attacks were a warning for the Western governmentsers to come back to their senses

In the beginning of his Fiqh course in A’ezam mosque in Qom, Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi emphasized the necessity to eradicate the roots of Takfirism.
He further added: “the Paris attacks were a shock to France and the whole Europe, after which the Europeans cancelled many of their social activities due to their fear of similar attacks”.
His eminence stated: “the Paris attacks were a warning for the Western governmentswesterners to come back to their senses and realize that the flames of the fire that they have started in Syria and Iraq cannot be confined in those two countries and they will spread to their own homelands in Europe as well”.
Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi further stated: “now some of them say that they are honestly seeking a way out of this crisis and we also try to believe that they are honest in what they say. However, we have two pieces of advice, one for the Western governmentswesterners and the other for the Wahhabi scholars: we advise the westerners to go and study the books authored by Mohammad bin Abdul-wahhab and bin Taymiyyah so as to find the true origins of the Takfiri school of thought and the roots of Daesh, and realize that the creator of this school of thought and terrorist groups like Daesh had been Saudi Arabia”.
He further addressed the Western governmentswesterners and said: “if you honestly seek to eradicate Takfiri terrorists, you must begin your work after finding its roots in the Saudi Arabia, because these terrorists cannot be exterminated on the battlefield; rather, the dogmatic Takfiri school of thought must first be eliminated”.
His eminence, then, noted: “We advise the Wahhabi scholars and muftis in Hijaz and elsewhere now to think again about what they have done for so long, particularly after witnessing these attacks which are the fruits of their Takfiri teachings. The results of their teachings have been but decapitation, atrocities, incineration, and destruction. So now we advise them to discard their deviant thoughts and to return to the mainstream Muslim community”.
He also added: “you constantly teach your young students in your schools the Takfiri teachings of Mohammad bin Abdul-wahhab and bin Taymiyyah, while your grand mufti states that Takfir (the act of calling other Muslims unbelievers) is prohibited in Islam. How do you justify this obvious and huge contradiction in your actions and beliefs that, on the one hand, you support and teach Takfirism in your schools and, on the other, you condemn Takfiris?!”
His eminence, then, noted: “now that the truth has been revealed, you must stop being so persistent regarding your wrong beliefs, and you must now discard these books and return to the mainstream Muslim community. This is because as long as these teachings are propagated and spread, the fire of Takfirism will continue devouring the world, and if it is extinguished in one country it will start in another”.
Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, then, said: “we hope that these two pieces of advice are effective on the two groups for whom they are meant, so that the world would take on a new, peaceful visage and security is restored all over the world”.
